Spring Roll and Wonton


The perfect companions for my other Asian treats




What you need:
Worsted weight acrylic yarn
tan or lt. gold
Size F (3.75 mm) hook
Polyester fiber fill
Yarn needle
Clip to keep place
Scissors


 Spring Roll:
Work in continuous rounds
  • Ch 2
  • Round 1: Work 6 sc in first chain
  • Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 st
  • Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around - 18 st
  • Round 4: sc in each sc (back loops only)
  • Round 5-20: sc
  • finish off and stuff with fiber fill
 Spring roll end:
Work in continuous rounds
  • Ch 2
  • Round 1: Work 6 sc in first chain
  • Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 st
  • Round 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around - 18 st
  • Finish off leaving tail of yarn to sew 
 Spring Roll Flap:

ch 16
 sc across -15 sts
work 3 rows of 15
sc 1, dec, sc 11, dec, sc1
continue in this fashion till you have 2 st
Weave in ends and sc around edge for  smoother look

Assembly:
Sew end to roll. Whip stitch long end of flap to roll. Tack point of flap.


 Crab Rangoon:
Make 4

ch 11
sc across 10 -st
sc 1, dec, sc across
continue in this fashion till you have 2 sts
sc around edge
weave in ends

Assembly:

Assembly:
Cut a long piece of yarn.
Fold each triangle as so, stitch in place.
Sew all folded triangles together, this make take some time for them all the fit together flush.
